Mauricio’s experience across different industries such as Consulting, CPG, Distribution, Retail and Tech with multidisciplinary roles in Juan Valdez Coffee, Jeronimo Martins Group, Amazon Mexico and currently as Country Manager for Cotrading Mexico, brings him to the table packed with top notch experiences at industry relevant players. Besides his work experience, Mauricio is also an angel investor in different start up companies in Nano Tech, Bio Tech and Electronics fields, mentor and LP in 500 Startups LATAM, and board of director’s associate at Fundacion La Manuelita (www.lamanuelita.org) in Colombia. 
His experience in commercial, innovation, product development, and market expansion roles, as well as his passion for outdoor sports and nature conservation, have boosted his interest in climate pledge challenges. Mauricio is a bachelor’s in business from Los Andes University in Colombia, with an MBA from EAE Business School in Spain, and master’s degree in marketing from Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico.
